I qualified from Birmingham University in 1990 and I joined Madeley Dental Practice in 1992. I have worked in a number of dental practices in Birmingham, West Bromwich and Walsall and still work one day a week in Birmingham.
Shortly after I completed my degree I passed the American National Board Dental Examinations and more recently completed a one year Contemporary Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry Course.
I am married with three daughters, who seem to keep me very busy, but I enjoy squash and skiing in the little time I have left.
Dentist
BDS, MFGDP RCS (Eng), MSc Rest (U Manc)
GDC No. 85508
I qualified from the University of Manchester in 2005 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery, and I completed my Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties qualification in 2008.
I completed a Year Certificate Course in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry in London. And more recently (May 2017), I gained my Master's degree, with distinction, in the same subject at Manchester University.
I joined Madeley Dental in 2016 and have enjoyed working here from the start. I Iove to take my time with my patients, to get to know them, and to find out how they would like me to help. My 'dental' passion is minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry - meaning always trying to be conservative whilst providing my patients with beautiful, healthy and long-lasting smiles.
I'm married, with two sons, and that keeps me pretty busy. I mostly enjoy hanging out with friends, eating good food, travelling, and playing basketball.
Dentist
I qualified from The University of Birmingham, School of Dentistry (2002) and then successfully completed a PhD in Materials Science at Trinity College Dublin in 2008. I was shortly after awarded Membership to the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS).
Subsequently, I proceeded to work as an Honorary Clinical Lecturer and Researcher at Cardiff Dental School. I worked alongside specialists in Restorative dentistry and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery which further developed my existing skills, enabling me to manage and treat more advanced cases requiring specialist skills. Working in these fields has led me to acquire a special interest in Periodontology (gum treatment), treating patients both surgically and non-surgically including those requiring mucogingival therapy. In addition, my role also involved me lecturing to both undergraduate and postgraduate students in General Dentistry, Endodontics and Implantology. I am currently accepting referrals for periodontal treatment.
I aim to provide a high level of care, placing emphasis on prevention, providing comprehensive treatment plans and discussing all treatment options with my patients.
In my spare time I enjoy gardening, DIY projects and being kept busy by my young twins.
