We aim to provide excellent services for our patients. We would like to receive your comments, suggestions and complaints so that we know what you like about our practice and to enable us to make improvements or changes when necessary.

How to complain

We hope most problems can be sorted out easily and quickly, at the time they arise and with the person concerned. If your problem cannot be resolved in this way and you wish to make a complaint, we would like you to let us know as soon as possible - ideally within a matter of days or at most a few weeks - as this will enable us to establish what happened most easily.

What we shall do

We shall acknowledge your complaint within 3 working days and aim to respond within 10 working days. In investigating your complaint we shall aim to:

  • Find out what happened
  • Enable you to discuss the problem with those concerned, if you would like this
  • Resolve the issue to your satisfaction
  • Identify what we can do to make sure the problem does not happen again

Complaining on behalf of someone else

Please note that we keep strictly to rules of confidentiality. If you're complaining on behalf of someone else, we have to know you have the permission to do so. A note signed by the person concerned will be required, unless they are incapable of providing this because of physical or mental illness or are a child under 16 years of age.

Complaining to dental complaints services

We hope that if you have a problem, you will make use of our practice complaints procedure. We believe this will provide the best chance of putting right whatever has gone wrong and an opportunity for us to improve our service. However, this does not affect your right to complain to the Dental Complaints Service on 0208 8253 0800, NHS England North Midlands - contact Primary Care Contract Manager on 01138 247343 or email, or Care Quality Commission on 03000 616161, if you feel you cannot raise your complaint with us or you are dis-satisfied with the result of our investigation.
